Description

Triton 3D Ultem 9085 was formulated to be 100% compatible with your Stratasys® printers and come with replacement chips but at a fraction of the cost of Stratasys® brand filament. Refill your Stratasys® printer with our alternative to Ultem 9085. This grade of Ultem 9085 is 100% guaranteed by Triton 3D® to work in your Stratasys® printers.

We manufacture this ultra-performance 3D printing filament using ULTEM™ 9085 PEI (polyether imide) resin. PEI is an amorphous, high-performance polymer that combines excellent thermal properties, exceptional dimensional stability, inherent flame retardancy, and good chemical resistance. Filaments made using ULTEM™ 9085 resin offer the ability to create parts with excellent properties at elevated temperatures due to a high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 185°C. ULTEM™ 9085 PEI resin is manufactured by Sabic Innovative Polymers and is one of the leading high-performance polymers in the aerospace industry. We use the same ULTEM™ PEI resin that Stratasys uses – but we charge you less! Certifications available upon request.

Material DETAILS

Glass Fiber Reinforced Filament

Rectangle111

What Is It?

DescriptionFibers made of glass reinforced into the polymer during manufacturing and aligned along the axis of filament. This, along with their physical makeup, give this material enormous strength and mechanical properties.
Rectangle222

What Does It Do?

Glass fiber reinforcement gives material a lot of desirable properties: High strength High stiffness High chemical resistance Low thermal expansion
Rectangle333

How Does It Work?

Reinforcing plastic with glass fibers produces a 3D printing filament which exhibits the best properties of both fiberglass and the plastic of choice.
