3DXTECH ASA
3DXMAX® ASA (Acrylonitirle Styrene Acrylate) is a UV-resistant, famously weatherable polymer. Our ASA has a low-gloss matte finish which makes it the perfect filament for technical-looking prints, especially when you don’t want the high-gloss surface finish often associated with 3D printing materials like ABS, PETG, or PLA.
MADE IN THE USA
We manufacture all of our filaments in our 68,000 ft² manufacturing facility (located in Grand Rapids, Michigan) using state-of-the-art equipment and processes. Our goal continues to be to make the most innovative filaments on the market – targeting difficult end-use applications.

Excellent product, that's why I repeatedly buy it
I print almost exclusively in ASA, and of all the brands I have used, this is the most consistent in performance.
Police Interceptor Center Console Retrofit
Great stuff, holds up to auto interior heat and that UV stuff that floods the inside of a car. 3D printed parts were mounted on the empty Havis console that came with the retired curiser. Acetone bonding used on some of the parts and worked as it should.

Amazing work Toby! Thank you very much for sharing this with us.
Where has this stuff been all my life?
Actually I got a sample to try about a year and I couldn't get it to print right, so rather than take the time to dial it in, it just went on the shelf with so many other samples that are collecting dust. Flash forward to a few weeks ago, when a lull in production gave me a chance to re-explore this ASA. Now i'm kicking myself for not having the patience to dial the settings in before because this stuff consistently prints like a dream! It's stronger, more heat resistant, and just plain better looking (love the matte finish) than the filament we've been using for years in our products. We've tested tons of different filaments and this stuff blows them all away! So now we're dumping our old go to filament and running 3DXTech ASA exclusively as well as some other 3DXTech filaments. Do yourself a favor and take the time to try this, dial it in, and then sit back and enjoy the easy printing experience.
Still the Best
This is my 5th roll of ASA from 3dxtech. I cannot emphasize enough how good this filament is. Keep up the good work!
Must have more ASA
I am never printing in ABS again. And if this stuff were cheaper, I'd never print in PLA or anything else again. Look up "3D Printing Professor ASA" on YouTube for more of my thoughts and how I ended up here.
