Description
Gen 3 CarbonX PA6+CF filament is formulated using a PA6 copolymer reinforced with high-modulus carbon fiber. This filament is ideal for anyone that desires a structural component with high modulus, improved chemical and thermal resistance, excellent surface quality, and ease of printing. Gen3 has higher HDT than our previous grades (147C at .45MPa) allowing for expanded use in higher-temp applications.

Unparalleled rigidity gives designers the properties they need to make their 3D printed parts with less material and save weight without sacrificing stiffness.

Benefits of CarbonX Nylon 6+CF

  • Excellent printability
  • High tensile strength and rigidity
  • Abrasion and wear resistance
  • Improved chemical resistance over traditional 3D printing materials
  • High thermal properties

Glass Fiber Reinforced Filament

Rectangle111

What Is It?

DescriptionFibers made of glass reinforced into the polymer during manufacturing and aligned along the axis of filament. This, along with their physical makeup, give this material enormous strength and mechanical properties.
Rectangle222

What Does It Do?

Glass fiber reinforcement gives material a lot of desirable properties: High strength High stiffness High chemical resistance Low thermal expansion
Rectangle333

How Does It Work?

Reinforcing plastic with glass fibers produces a 3D printing filament which exhibits the best properties of both fiberglass and the plastic of choice.
Rectangle444

What Is It Good For?

Ideal for any applications which require strength and rigidity. For these reasons, glass fiber reinforced filament is very popular in automotive, mechanical, civil engineering, and research industries.
