ECOMAX Tough PLA
Tough PLA is a unique filament created to offer superior impact resistance, ductility, and lower gloss when compared to standard PLA. Developed for industrial-grade applications which require a more robust set of properties than what’s usually available from the typical PLA.
Tough PLA is a biopolymer derived from plants. Our premium blend of ECOMAX®PLA is made right here in the USA from 100% virgin PLA Natureworks biopolymer resin and state-of-the-art compounding technologies to achieve its toughness. It’s famous for being perfectly suited to practically all desktop 3D printers, including the Prusa, Ender, Flashforge, Anet, Creality, Lulzbot, Makergear, Ultimaker, and may more printer families.

Wow this stuff is strong
I always take careful consideration of print parameters when using a new filament and wow, after just a mere temperature tower and HHE test this filament is tough. I like to print prototypes of designs that are near completion for accurate dimensional and are physically tough. This is not your normal pla by any means and you can tell its pure clean ingredients because the layer adhesion is STRONG. FYI this competes with ultimaker tough pla in every manner but the price (which it wins by 40%) will be buying this from now on for my tough prototype material instead.
Consistent quality and great results
I've used Tough PLA as much as I can. I've started using the Venom for all of my tooling fixtures and I'm very happy with the results. Also using it for some vase mode prints with 1.0mm nozzle and it flows well. Use Magigoo bed adhesive and I get the same quality with every print.
